Britney Lances Makes sense of Why She Shut Down Her Instagram: 'It Put Me In an awful mood's



In a string of tweets posted late on Saturday, singer BRITNEY SPEARS discussed other recent issues and clarified why she "locked down" her heavily scrutinised Instagram account.

Fans were so alarmed by Spears' mysterious removal of her Instagram earlier this month that they contacted the police to inquire about her whereabouts. But as Spears said on Saturday, she stopped using Instagram because of the criticism she received for her pictures.

 

"I deleted my Instagram because too many people were commenting that I was crazy dancing and looked like an idiot. Sincerely, I was doing my best, but seeing people discuss it openly on TV troubled me; yes, it made me uncomfortable," Spears stated.

Spears also addressed the paparazzi video of Spears having some sort of confrontation at a Los Angeles restaurant, an incident that drew headlines questioning the singer’s public behavior.

“I mean DAMN come on… three girls at a restaurant came up to me yesterday so drunk and loud and sat right beside me with that gross smell of alcohol and got right in my face … reminded me of my wedding… I was traumatized…
