NASA to Work with Military Organization on Atomic Rocket Experimental drill
NASA, the American space agency, is collaborating with a military research organisation to create a nuclear rocket that will transport astronauts to Mars.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) of the United States Defense Department and NASA recently announced their collaboration on the project. DARPA has a long history of contributing to numerous significant inventions as the military's research and development organisation, including the earliest versions of the internet.
