LDA Activity Against Infringements, Unlawful Stopping Outside Medical clinics


 The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has undertaken an operation against encroachments and illegal parking outside major hospitals in the city. Chief Town Planner Asad-uz-Zaman has been appointed as the focal person for the operations. According to the LDA Director General Aamir Ahmad Khan, special teams have been carrying out operations from Doctor's Hospital to Khokhar Chowk in Johar Town. 

[1]The DG said that encroachments in green belts and parking areas on model roads would not be tolerated, and the properties of the violators would be sealed if they do not heed the repeated warnings and notices.

 [2]The DG also stated that nine important roads in Lahore are being uplifted into model roads, starting with the road from Main Boulevard Allama Iqbal Town and Doctors Hospital to Expo Centre.

 [3]The meeting also discussed the proposed plan of parking in G-1 Market and Moon Market Iqbal Town, and it was decided that big shopping malls should ensure the parking of motorcycles inside the malls.

Murder of Noor Mukadam   Noor Mukadam, a 27-year-old woman from Pakistan, was tragically murdered in Islamabad in July 2021. She was the daughter of Shaukat Mukadam, a former Pakistani diplomat.
