LHC gathers CCPO Lahore on supplication for recuperation of counsel to ex-CM Elahi
LAHORE: On Thursday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) summoned the CCPO Lahore and ordered a report and summons for February 3 in relation to a plea filed for the return of Amir Saeed Rawn, a counsellor to the former chief minister of Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi.
Adam Saeed, Amir Saeed's brother, filed a plea, which Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry heard in chambers.
In front of the court, the petitioner's attorney claimed that Amir Saeed Rawn had been detained unlawfully. He requested information on the cases brought against him and pleaded with the court to order Amir Saeed's recovery.
The CCPO Lahore and other parties were given notice for Friday by the court after the arguments (today).
