NA BY-Surveys: PTI Chooses TO Eliminate BILAL GHAFFAR AS KARACHI PRESIDENT

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to remove Bilal Ghaffar as the president of the party’s Karachi chapter. According to sources in the PTI, the decision was taken after a meeting of the party’s core committee was held in Islamabad on Monday.

PTI's chairman and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, made the decision to remove Ghaffar due to his involvement in the recent by-elections in Karachi. The party had initially selected Ghaffar for the post in early 2020.

Sources close to the party said that Khan was unhappy with the performance of the party in the by-elections, which was held on April 29. The PTI had won only two seats in the by-elections; one from NA-254 and the other from PS-113.

The party believes that Ghaffar is to blame for the poor performance of the party, as he was responsible for selecting and appointing the candidates for both seats. Ghaffar had reportedly been unable to bring together the different factions of the party in Karachi and had failed to effectively motivate the party’s workers.

The party is now looking for a replacement for Ghaffar and is expected to announce the name of the new president shortly. It is also expected that the new president will have a better understanding of the local issues in Karachi and will be able to bring the different factions of the party together.
