Imran Khan, born on October 5, 1952, is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He is the founder and chairman of the political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which was established in 1996. Imran Khan gained international fame as the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, leading them to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

Imran Khan entered politics after retiring from cricket and has been an influential figure in Pakistani politics for several decades. His political party, PTI, gained prominence over the years and emerged as a major political force in the country. Imran Khan campaigned on promises of anti-corruption measures, social justice, and reforming the political system in Pakistan.

In the general elections held in July 2018, Imran Khan's PTI emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly, and he took oath as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 18, 2018. As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has focused on various policy initiatives, including poverty alleviation, education reform, health services improvement, and attracting foreign investment.

It's important to note that my knowledge is based on information available up until September 2021, and there may have been developments or events involving Imran Khan since then that I am not aware of. For the most recent and up-to-date information, I recommend referring to news sources or official government statements.
